Simpsons
For this project we had to change Homer's shirt color and put him in a situation that made sense. I decided to make him pretending to be a dinosaur and roaring with the other dinosaurs.

WET Layout
The Works Every Time layout. Fairly self explanatory. This versatile layout works for most publications.

Infographic - Revised
My original design was a war map, when that wasn't correct, I switched to a bar graph using emus as the bars. Line charts above show emu population and ammo expended. Source was mostly Wikipedia.

Pictograph - Revised
A pictograph showing a statistic - interesting or odd. Source for the information was the New York Times and a simple google search for how many times Harry Potter is mentioned in his own series.

Logo/Type
This project has 4 logos for the JRN 302 course at CMU.

Lush's font is exclusive for their use only so I could only mimic it or try to get close. I painted the background of this myself and tried to find a whimsical handwriting style font.

Hi, I'm Michelle, and I can make things

I am an animator, an illustrator, a painter, a writer, and - most of all - a storyteller. Telling stories is my ultimate goal and I have multiple forms of media at my disposal to do just that. I want to tell not only my stories, but the stories other people have to tell as well. For this reason, I am looking to be involved in the creative industry.

What specific things can I make?

I am primarily an artist, with a focus on animation and illustration. I can create things traditionally or digitally. I have experience in 2D animation, 3D animation, stop motion animation, character design and development, comics, painting, drawing, 3D modeling, pre-production, production, post-production, video editing, graphic design, web design, print design, etc. If I've never done it before, I will find out how and I will do it.
